Offerings for 2026

1:1 Transpersonal Art Therapy

Individual sessions offering creative support for adults navigating disability, neurodivergence, emotional dysregulation and significant life transitions.

What is Art Therapy?

Art therapy is a mental health service involving visual art making as a form of non-verbal expression. This holistic approach can assist in allowing you to explore & express emotions, feelings and your inner world. When we use imagery & symbols to explore our inner worlds, we touch on the unconscious and unseen within. This can bring forth new insights and aha moments that can be integrated & understood from both a somatic and psychological perspective. Art therapy can support the process of making meaning from circumstances, past crisis and finding creative and embodied solutions. There is no need for artistic ability or perfection. The benefits of art therapy with a supportive practitioner means that holistic witnessing can take place where you may feel seen and heard like never before.

This service on offer is for those who would like a a gentle & creative approach to counselling. In a safe space together we explore creative arts practices to support goals, visions etc & to provide emotional regulation and trauma informed support.

My approach:

I practice from a humanistic and person centered approach and welcome all who wish to experience the therapeutic benefits of art therapy. I am trained in Transpersonal art therapy; Transpersonal means going beyond (trans-) the individual person, ego, or separate self. It supports experiences such as spiritual crisis & awakening, altered states of consciousness, and psychological frameworks where a person feels a deep sense of unity, spiritual connection, or oneness with humankind, nature, or the wider universe. This approach can include: Dreamwork, Mandala making, Guided visualisation & Guided Journalling.

Alongside the above, there are other tools & mediums which can be offered in these sessions such as:

Clay // Drawing // Mixed Media // Collage // Watercolors // Photography // Painting // Alcohol Inks // Gel Printing // Poetry // & beyond.
